CheckMyDisk was built from the ground up with a singular philosophy: Your data belongs to you.

1. No Cloud Uploads

Unlike other storage analyzers, CheckMyDisk operates 100% locally on your machine. We do not upload your file names, folder structures, or disk contents to any server. Ever.

2. Telemetry & Analytics

We do not track your usage. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs inside the Mac app. Crash reports are entirely opt-in through Apple's native crash reporting system.

3. Payment Processing

Payments are handled securely via Dodo Payments. We do not store your credit card details. We only store your email address for the sole purpose of sending your license key.
